Umami Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-first analytics tool. It collects no personal data, uses no cookies, and is GDPR-compliant by design. Data is hosted on our own server.
Booking.com & Airbnb (Affiliate Links)
We link to Booking.com and Airbnb via affiliate programs. If you click these links, those sites may set their own cookies. We earn a small commission if you complete a booking — at no extra cost to you.
4. Cookies
FanVancouver.com uses minimal cookies:
- __cf_bm — Cloudflare security cookie. Duration: 30 minutes. Required for site security.
- Google AdSense cookies — set by Google for ad personalization. You can disable these in Google Ad Settings.
Our own analytics (Umami) is cookieless — we track page views without storing any cookies or personal identifiers.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will continue to function normally.
5. Google AdSense & Personalized Advertising
We participate in the Google AdSense program. Google uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
We comply with Google's publisher policies including the EU User Consent Policy where applicable.
