1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing FanVancouver.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
2. About This Site
FanVancouver.com is an independent travel guide to Vancouver, British Columbia, written and maintained by one Vancouver resident. It is not affiliated with BC Place Stadium, TransLink, Destination Vancouver, the City of Vancouver, or any venue, hotel or operator mentioned on the site. The World Cup 2026 section is a finished archive kept online for reference; it is not updated.
The site is free to read and funded by advertising, affiliate commissions and one paid download (see sections 4 and 5). It is a commercial website in that sense, and an editorially independent one: no venue, hotel or tour operator pays for a mention, a placement or a rating, and none is offered the chance to review a page before it goes live.
3. Accuracy of Information
We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information sourced from official sources (TransLink, BC Place, Destination Vancouver, Parks Canada and the venues themselves). However:
- Prices, schedules, and availability may change without notice
- Items labeled "~est." or "estimate" are approximations
- Always verify anything your trip depends on — opening hours, ferry and transit times, ticketed entry — with the operator before you go
FanVancouver.com is not liable for any loss, injury, or inconvenience arising from reliance on information on this site.
4. Affiliate Links & Advertising
Some links on this site are affiliate links (Booking.com, Airbnb, Travelpayouts partners, Stay22, GetYourGuide and Viator among them). We may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you. We also display advertisements via Google AdSense. Ad revenue helps keep this site free.
5. Vancouver Insider Guide (paid PDF)
The Insider Guide is a digital PDF delivered by download link immediately after payment. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- Refunds: email within 14 days of purchase and you get your money back, no questions asked and no need to explain why. Include the email address used at checkout.
- Lost your file: email from the address used at checkout and the link is reissued.
- Licence: the PDF is for personal use. Print it, put it on any of your own devices, share it with the people you are travelling with. Do not resell it, republish it or post it for public download.
- Updates: the guide is revised periodically. Buyers get the revision current at the time of purchase; revisions are not automatically re-sent.
6. Intellectual Property
Content on FanVancouver.com (text, guides, layout) is the property of FanVancouver.com. Photos are served via Google Maps API under their terms of use. You may not reproduce or republish our content without permission.
7. External Links
We link to external websites for reference. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those sites.
8. Limitation of Liability
FanVancouver.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vancouver, BC.
10. Contact
