Granville Room opens in time for afternoon kick-offs, which matters during the World Cup when Vancouver matches at BC Place typically start mid-afternoon Pacific time. If you're planning to watch or eat before a game, you won't need to rush.

Granville Street is a neighbourhood worth exploring in its own right — before or after a match, it gives you a slice of Vancouver life outside the immediate stadium zone. Locals here mix with visitors in a way that's less hectic than the immediate downtown core.

A Google rating of 4/5 across 649 reviews puts Granville Room in solid territory — well above average for Vancouver, where competition is fierce.

Recent visitors note: "The Granville Room is a stylish place known for great drinks, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. It is popular for..." — a small detail, but it's the kind of comment that tends to separate a genuinely good spot from a merely convenient one.

For practical planning: confirm current hours with Granville Room directly before your visit, particularly around World Cup match days — venues across Vancouver regularly adjust their schedules during the tournament. The address is 957 Granville St, Vancouver BC.
