Canadian resume builder

Fill the fields below. Our AI returns a Canadian-standard plain-text resume in a business tone (Vertex when available; otherwise a free model or local Canadian template). Then copy, download .txt, or print to PDF on your device. We do not upload or host your resume file on FanVancouver servers.

Privacy: Form data is sent only to generate text, then discarded from the response path — no resume PDF/DOCX is written under /var/www for you to fetch. Prefer downloading locally or pasting into your own Google Docs / Word.

FAQ

Questions travellers ask most

Is the resume builder free? +

Yes. It is free and rate-limited per IP. Generated text is returned to your browser.

Do you store my resume on your server? +

No resume files are saved for download on FanVancouver. Use Copy, Download .txt (browser Blob), or Print → Save as PDF on your device.

How do I get a PDF? +

Click Print / Save as PDF and choose Save as PDF in your browser print dialog. That file stays on your computer.

What if AI is unavailable? +

The tool still returns a Canadian-format draft using a local template so you can copy or download immediately.

What to check before you send what this generates

A generated draft gets you past the blank page, not past the screener. Five checks before it goes anywhere, all of them specific to hiring in Metro Vancouver.

Tailor one line per application

The single highest-return edit is rewriting the top summary line to echo the posting's own words. It takes a minute and it is what the first pass — human or software — reads first.

Then send it as a PDF

Named with your name. Single column. A two-column template with your experience in a sidebar looks good on screen and comes out scrambled in half the applicant tracking systems used here.
