- Contact — name, Vancouver-area city, phone, email (school email is fine if professional).
- Summary (3 lines) — program + year, languages, weekend/evening availability.
- Education — institution, program, expected graduation; relevant coursework only if tied to the role.
- Projects / campus / volunteer — treat like jobs with bullets and hours.
- Skills — POS willingness, languages, software, First Aid if current.
- Work history — any paid role, even short; overseas experience belongs here with Canadian wording.

Managers schedule around class blocks. A single honest line beats silence: “Available evenings after 5pm Mon–Thu; open weekends; exams Dec 10–20 limited.” Put it in extras or the summary — not buried in a cover letter they never open.
What not to do
- Do not list every high-school club from five years ago with no outcomes.
- Do not claim fluent language skills you cannot use on a busy floor.
- Do not attach a photo or include age — see rejection mistakes.
