How to read a posting (so you do not get scammed)

Do you list every LMIA job in British Columbia? +

We snapshot Job Bank’s Approved LMIA search for B.C. (title, employer, city, wage, date) and link each card to the official posting. Counts on Job Bank are the live truth; our snapshot refreshes every few hours. We do not copy the job description.

Why did Vancouver-only search show so little? +

Approved LMIA ads in the City of Vancouver are often a handful. Most approved cards are farms and nurseries in Surrey, Richmond, Abbotsford, Langley. The Metro chip and All B.C. view show those without sending you to hunt on Job Bank first.

What is the difference between LMIA requested and approved? +

Requested means the employer applied to ESDC. Approved means they may hire a foreign worker for that role — you still need IRCC to issue a permit. Always read the posting.

Will you calculate my Express Entry CRS score? +

No. IRCC’s CRS tool is official and draws change. A clone that is 15 points off is worse than a link. Use IRCC, then WelcomeBC for PNP.

Do you email new LMIA jobs? +

This server does not send mail. Save the page, use Job Bank alerts on their site, and the FanVancouver Telegram channel. We may post one high-wage B.C. card a day to Telegram — always with a link back here and to Job Bank.
