Richmond Night Market 2026: Dates, Food & How to Get There
Published 2026-07-14 · FanVancouver Local Desk
The Richmond Night Market is one of the largest in North America — neon, skewers, bubble tea, and a summer-only ritual for anyone based in Vancouver. It runs Friday through Sunday from May into October at the Richmond fairgrounds site.
🕐 When to go
Arrive before 7pm on Fridays for shorter entry lines; Saturdays peak after 8:30pm. Sundays are the calmest trade-off between crowds and atmosphere.
🚇 Getting there
Take the Canada Line SkyTrain to Richmond–Brighouse Station (~25 min from downtown), then walk or grab a short bus ride to the market gates. Driving is possible but parking queues are brutal — transit wins.
🍢 What to eat
- Curry fish balls, tornado potatoes, and grilled squid — share plates with friends
- Bubble tea row — compare brown sugar vs mango lassi
- Dumpling vendors — faster than sit-down Richmond restaurants on busy nights
